Nokia finally joined another device in releasing a smartphone with a non-screen Nokia X6 which was the first model of the X-series for the mid-smartphone market.
Nokia X6 has been announced in China with premium design and middle-class specification. It brings a 5.8-inch screen with FHD + 1080 x 2280 pixel resolution and a 19: 9 ratio. The screen is also covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Its main camera uses dual lens rule with 16 Megapixel sensor, F2.0 and 5 Megapixel monochrome sensor, F2.2. The camera also gets the touch of AI technology and other functions such as artificial bokeh, facial detectors and so on. The selfie camera comes with a 16 Megapixel sensor, F2.0 which also works as a unlock through facial recognition.
Inside, the Nokia X6 comes with a Snapdragon 636 chip that comes with a choice of 3/4/6 GB of RAM and a 32/64 GB internal memory option.
The battery used is 3060 mAh that can be charged through USB Type-C connection as well as Quick Charge 3.0 quick charging support. Interestingly, this device offers the latest Android 8.1 Oreo platform, and Nokia also promises to update Android P in the future.
Nokia X6 will start sales in China starting May 21 at CNY1299 (≈RM810) for the 4GB / 32GB model, CNY1449 (≈RM910) for the 4GB / 64GB model and CNY1699 (≈RM1099) for the 6GB / 64GB model. The market outside of china is still uncertain
